Yesterday we were at Marisa and Marios' house, and we were sitting out in the yard talking about the trees that they had planted, and the other trees in their yard and in their neighborhood, and Grandma (Lorna) told us a story about when she was in school.
She had a teacher who was very much into botany, and knew a lot about different kinds of trees, and this teacher told the class that anytime someone brought in a branch/leaf of a tree, if he couldn't identify it he would give them a candy bar.
Grandma said that her dad was always selling trees, and so she was able to take in a lot of different samples, and she said that she got more candy bars than anyone else in the class.
